Job Description
VitalConnect is looking for a Build and Release Engineer to develop and manage the processes for turning our software into compelling products for our customers. We are a small, fast moving team shifting into a Continuous Integration, Test, and Deployment model. We need someone to lead this effort, refining the tools and processes while supporting ongoing release efforts. The ideal person for this role is someone who can work independently to drive this effort while collaborating closely with different members of the development organization.
 
Responsibilities
  • Develop scripts and processes for our Continuous Integration Server (Bamboo) for builds of Android, Ruby on Rails, and Angular based Javascript projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve code analysis, unit testing reports, automated integration testing, and continuous test deployment processes.
  • Support developers with versioning, local build scripts, library management, and build/release activities.
  • Document processes and release deliverables for the FDA submission process.
 
Requirements
  • BSCS or equivalent technical degree.
  • Minimum 2 years experience with Continuous Integration, Test, and Deployment using Bamboo or Jenkins CI servers.
  • Experience with Android (Gradle), Angular (node), and Ruby on Rails build processes.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively with the developers to improve the processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
