Clinical Specialist

VitalConnect is delivering a revolutionary solution for in-hospital and outpatient care to address the growing need for patient data connectivity. We leverage extensive expertise in biomedical engineering, data analytics, chip design, and mobile and cloud software to create technology that supports decision-making paradigms that achieve better health and economic outcomes. VitalConnect’s products are designed for use in a broad range of inpatient and outpatient settings, such as hospital monitoring, post-discharge care, cardiac monitoring and pharmaceutical solutions.

Your challenge:
Our Clinical Specialists will provide clinical customer support to effectively implement VitalConnect’s solutions into customer sites. Our Specialists directly interface with various functional groups such as Sales/Marketing, Customer Support, and Research & Development to help develop, implement, manage, and support our products and solutions. In the field, you will regularly interact with nursing staff and hospital decision makers to ensure that VitalConnect delivers the complete potential of our innovative solutions.

  • Responsible for implementing the clinical training program to various customer sites throughout the United States
  • Support clients by providing onsite and virtual clinical education through presentations and demonstrations about merits and proper clinical usage of company products
  • Collaborate with various departments within customer organization to implement onsite clinical evaluations to ensure clinical acceptance of all technological devices
  • Educate customers on the merits, proper clinical procedures, and usages of clinical devices
  • Trains and establishes effective relationships with external customers while working with sales teams to drive clinical value
  • Develop and deliver a customized training and support plan VCI solutions at customer sites
  • Submit detailed documentation while onsite at customer accounts within designated time frame
  • Responsible for product knowledge as product operations and/or features change
  • Responsible for ongoing customer support either in person or by phone/video conference
  • Educate Clinical Research Associates and corporate teams of clinical relevance and applications of our products and solutions
  • Assists in various projects as assigned
  • Traveling up to 75%
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and organizational skills
  • Able to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently or as a team player in cross-functional projects
  • Employs extensive judgement and experience to plan and accomplish goals
  • Friendly and approachable; enjoys developing relationships at all levels of the organization, from the receptionist to the CEO
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software
  • Passionate about making a positive change in people’s lives
  • BS/BA degree in nursing or related field. Must possess a valid unrestricted nursing license issued within the U.S. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of prior or current critical care or telemetry nursing experience
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ECG rhythm interpretation
